Magnets exposed on 6080.50 - problem?

I just bought a used 6080.50 magnet along with a used 6100. When the 6080.50 arrived, the covers over the magnets on both the in-tank and outside pieces were loose and one was half popped off. Water can DEFINITELY get inside to where the magnets are. Is that a problem or is it normal? Will they corrode or can I relax and use them?

The cover is only decorative, the magnets are waterproofed by PU resin. I can send the glue needed to replace the cover, basically model air plane glue. I would also exchange them for you if you prefer.

Wow, very kind. I used a little bit of aquarium silicone sealant and I think that worked. Still, thank you for offering. Roger, you are why Tunze is the best there is.
