Both magnets are about half an inch thick. Very slimline, I love mine, so much better than the brackets.:thumbsup:

Where do you have yours mounted and do you have them angled any? And what did you do with your driver and transformer so that they are out of sight and where they can't get wet?

Are you using the Tunze Stream Decorator Rock? I think I would like to use them.

Hi,
I only have one 6100 at the moment, I have it mounted in the upper middle of the LH end of my tank angled towards the front glass. I have a small shelf mouned on the wall behind my refugium canopy with all of the electrics for my Tunze on it.
Don't have the rock, but have seen them, they are big, too big from my perspective, but each to therir own.

I have two 6100s. I have not mounted mine yet but I plan to place one on each end, positioned similar to Highlander. I also bought the deco rocks, but sold them immediately. They are much too big (I have a 180). When I upgrade my tank to something longer than 7FT and deeper than 2FT I might consider them again.

Thanks for that info. I know the rocks would be too large for mine if they are for yours. My tank is only 4 ft long. Great idea though!
