magnifica anemone survivel

why dont magnifica anemones survive in tansk for long

i wnat to get a magnifica anemone but i wnat it to live for more then 10 years

what are the factors that cause it to detiriorate in most tanks?

The needs of the magnifica are still a huge unkown. Best we can do at this point is provide extremely stable conditions, adequate lighting, healthy feeding, and excellent water parameters. Many feel that they are damaged or infected in the shipping process, and just don't recover. Being lucky enough to get a healthy one from the start is 90% of the battle.

I agree with tufacody. I have 3 of them and I feel that the key is getting a healthy one to start with.
