Magnificent Foxface Injury

I'm literally sick right now about this, I'm honestly near tears.

I was bristle worm hunting earlier and either witnessed or caused a fairly major rock slide. Immediatly afterwards my magnificent foxface starts swimming around like crazy. At first I think that this is nothing, but then notice a rather large red spot on top of his nose. I think he might have gotten injured by the slide. He is still swimming around fine, but seems like he is trying to "get away" if you know what I mean. Is there anything I can do to help him, or add in to help him heal? I've had him for over 6 years and hes about 7 or 8 inches. I don't know how well I would fare trying to catch him and I don't have a QT currently setup.

Well the "red spot" I thought I saw turned out to be nothing other than the yellow spot on his head under the actenics. However, he does appear to have two smaller marks on his side. He's acting fairly normally, I hope that they'll be alright. I'll see if I can get a picture later when I feed

The spots appear to be getting better/shrinking. I tried my best to get a shot of them, but all I could do is a bigger picture and try and identify it off of there. I've gone ahead and circled the area. It doesn't appear to be infected, I just can't seem to find any information on scale/skin injuries in marine fish. If anyone could direct me to links ect. I'd be more than happy.
