Mags under LED's

I'm thinking of taking the plunge into led lights, I'm currently running 2 400w halides over my 4x2x30" a few reasons are forcing my towards LEDs, 1st electricity costs, 2nd bulb replacements, (I live in the uk and everything here always seems to cost a premium, half decent bulbs from my lfs are over £150each) and 3rd temperature control, while the uk isn't renowned for long hot summers last year my apex was shutting my lights off nearly every afternoon with water temperatures going over 85f!
I'm probably going to go for radion g3 pros or kessil a360, leaning towards radions at the moment, but both seem proven lights with sps coral.
I have 2 mags in my tank that really are the show pice of my system, absolutely love them, anyone kept mags under LEDs or transitioned them to LEDs with success or failure?

I think mags are an ideal candidate for a host nem under LEDS.
LEDs typically are pretty hot off the bulb in terms of PAR value, and then normally drop a fair amount at depth.
Mags like to perch high up on rock, so they will get that higher PAR level they crave.
You might even need to acclimate them to those lights, don't throw full power at them right off the bat.

It has only been a couple of weeks, but I have one under a Kessil Sky Blue. The important thing to note is that I placed it directly under the Kessil and it has not moved at all. So it seems pretty happy with it.

All the mags that I get and treat are under a Reefbreeder Par38 LED, and seem to love it. No problems there. They get well under that LED, so apparently it's working.

Here is the most up to date pic I have of my mag. The video was soon after i introduced the nem to the tank and has been almost a year now. Here is the pic below.

sorry for the quality of the photo. Was taken with my cell phone.

Deep.

Deep.

I got a bleached Crispa to tan at 30" depth with less than 50% power. I'm thinking the quality of the spectrum is more important than PAR. Anyway, with the lights he's thinking of, shouldn't be a problem.

Had my mag under ai sol blues for a year.Went back to halides because my sps turned brown and dull.they are coloring back up and the mag seems happier. The ai were 16'' above the water surface ran them whites 60% blue 70% and royal blue 70%.

My SPS seems to have great color and extension since I took my fish out, the lights seem to be doing ok. Do the Sols have UV? I can't compare to halides though, never tried them.

I have had my mag for 2 months under my radion which I recently upgraded to G3. Had to use cipro when it arrived but has been doing great ever since and hasn't moved.
