Majanos

How does one kill massive numbers of majanos? I don't want to hear about Joes juice, boiling water, kalk paste, etc. I have tried these things, and it's beyond that now. I need a natural predator of some sort that doesn't wipe out every other anemone in the tank. It's not that these are just ugly, they end up killing coral in the long term. I also think they release stuff in the water that is harming the tank. I want them dead. Is there any new magic to be found? Does anyone have a copperband that they know will kill them?

When I bought some live rock with lots of Majanos from someone a while back, I simply took the rock out and used a small flat screw driver and pryed them out of the rock. I then rinse them in a bucket of salt water. They never came back for me. I couldn't do that with aptasia cause they will rip and make baby aptasias.

Yeah, disassembling the entire tank is an option. I was hoping for something easier. As far as I can tell these are just as bad if not worse than star polyps.

I think star polyp is worse to get off of your rock though. You pretty much have to take it out of your tank and dry the rock off.
