Looking for info on Euxiphipops navarchus or the majestic/blue girdled.
has anyone ever kept one in a large reef? any info on successful coral species that has been kept w/ one? Specifically LPS and zoos/shrooms. Ive established experimenting w/ sps and will probly be ok but w/ the info ive already researched.

They are not Euxiphipops anymore, they changed them to pomacanthus a while ago. I put one in a 12o gallon reef once. It was mostly LPS and he had a real taste for Xenia and pretty much ate all of it.

oh i didnt know they changed to pomas, that would make sense to what ive been reading, check this out this basically describes the opposite:

i guess just as any living creature it depends on the personality and how it is introduced countered with proper feeding techniques.

Oh I love Gregory Scheimer's tank. How does he do it? I was reading an advanced aquarist article about his tank and in his frag grow out tank it said "many aquarists would love a display tank as nice as his grow out tank" and it had a japanease pygmy angel in it!

I have one in my reef, he seems happy, been there for a few mos.. he may nip once in a while but not too often.
