Mak 4 just started to make cray noises

I bought a Mak4 external pump from you about 3 months ago. The pump has alway been loud, but today I noticed that it made a large humming sound and start to vibrate some what violently. What can I do? Please advise. Thanks

Hi,

Have you pulled the pump off and cleaned the wet end yet? If not, go ahead and take it off and disassemble the front end of it to make sure nothing is in there, as well as giving it a good vinegar bath to get rid of calcium deposits.
