Makes you Wonder

I purchase a small pair of snow flake clowns for my tank today. As is expected with these fish, they are Cbb and have lived their whole life, never seeing their natural environment. They were born and raised in a tank, ship to my LFS and kept in a empty tank, Then plucked out of that and put into my version of a reef.

As I released my 2 little clowns into my tank, (they are the only fish in this tank)I could not help but feel a little in awe, as I watch them swim all over my tank, like 2 kids in a candy store. Rushing here and there, first apart then back together and so on. If I didn't know better, I would say they were happy.

It just made me wonder what was going on in their little brains, very awesome for me to watch

Makes you wonder:)

Have a nice day!

Sounds like some happy clowns.

Got a B/W mated pair myself today. Now if I can get them laying with good survival rates...

Time will tell.

I always loved watching my b/w occy pair, & my onyx clowns. It's fascinating behavior. Sounds like yours are happy as pigs in mud. Good luck!

I was never interested in the strain variations; so, I have a couple of natural colored pairs of captive raised clowns. They've done well with my green BTA's and lay eggs about every two weeks (full and new moon cycle).
From the thousands of eggs I've seen, I suspect that they can get out of hand quickly if you are successful! I just don't have a place to put them.

I'm just happy to see the fish next to the nem tending to their eggs. Fish, nem, eggs having never been in the ocean!
