making anemone move

Whats the easiest way to get an anemone to move? Im buying an anemone from a lady but right now its on a huge rock and id like to get it on a smaller rock so i can transport it..any tips?

I've HEARD that you can aim a powerhead right at them and it will cause them to move. Also heard that an ice-cube on the base will get them to move.

I have a list every time I move my anemones(whitch I dont do that much.)

1.Rinse hand and dry very well.
2.Put on a pair of gloves and make sure that they fit well and are not lose.
3.Slowly put hand in the tank and start towards the anemone.
4.Now start to "tickle" the foot of the anemone and be sure to due this very careful because you could tear the foot.
5.Now when you have done this and part of the foot starts to come up use a small power haed and place it toward the anemones foot were its comeing up.
6.Be sure that the power head does not pump more than 150 gallons per hour.

What if the foot is deep within a rock/hole?

Then you would have to move the rock trying to not disturbe any thing.If the foot is in a hole strong flow would work.

i just went threw this. try no flow,or tilting the rock so it has to move a little to recieve light. the force methods made mine just retract .
