Male and Female Goby - Different Colors?

I bought this mated pair to go with a largish pistol shrimp. They found him immediately and all seem happy. I'm wondering if they are different colors because they are male and female or because one is a Yellow Watchman and the other is a Blue Spotted? Neither of them are as brilliant yellow as I've seen online. Colors are perhaps better seen in the video.

Few gobies actually have color differences depending on their (current) sex.

One of the few I know of are Yasha gobies where males have a black spot at the base of their pelvic fins.

Since gobies can change sex either way it also doesn't matter too much.

Are the ones you have different species or do they just have slightly different colors?

Thanks for the information on the differentiation of color in gobies (or lack of it), based on their sex.

I believe they are both Watchman. Look very similar in shape - just different colors. One is a muted version of the other. The one on the right in the photo and video has a "base" color that looks more yellow than the other.

Some yellow watchmen gobies fade a bit in their yellow. I have no idea if that is socially/sex related or due to environmental or food factors.
