Male clown not eating....obsessing over zoas

The male of the pair recently decided he would not eat the pellets he's been enjoying since day one about 6 months ago. Also tried mysis and brine but not interested. The one thing that has changed recently is his obsession with my zoas. He frequents them constantly and his entire under carriage is covered in black spots from the palytoxin. He loves to burrow in and just rest there. When I do feed he'll come out, thumb his nose at the pellets and head back to the zoas. My sense is that the toxin is taking a toll. Does he need a 12 step program? Any thoughts or experience on this?

Here is a video before the loss of appetite

BTW, there is an RBTA next to the zoas but he prefers the zoas....
