Male/Female Clownfish

When purchasing in a LFS, how do you know what your getting? How can you chose if you want one of each?
Is it just the size, if a pair are together, are they considered one of each?

Also if you do get one of each, or a pair, will they eventually mate?

Except for the mating part. Will they automatically mate?

The mating part is the true question for any owner. I have had pairs that have mated a short time after purchase and I have had some that have taken well over a year. It depends on the fish and also their environment.
