Yes indeed. Eats most anything.

Yes. When he sees me he is very alert waiting for whatever I throw in.

How long have you had him and what is he eating?

Oh, sounds like you have a NEW male flame wrasse. Flame wrasses are somewhat difficult shippers AND the males take longer to acclimate socially than many other fish. Give it a week. I would initially try arctipods, mysis or similar. Once acclimated they eat virtually anything

Yes I know my first one looked bad would only come out to eat and died just short of 2 weeks. This one is going on 2 weeks and is looking great. I know my female and other fairys eat anything I feed so I just wanted to make sure. As of now he its frozen brine and mysis shrimp.

in time they will eat just about anything and from my experience they get pretty bold. I actually just lost mine yesterday. I found him in the sump dead. I guess he jumped into the overflow and didn't survive the trip down into the sump. Hopefully i'll be able to replace him soon.

I have a trio, 1 male, 2 female, had then since last September, the male only comes out to eat after I stand way back, the females are out all the time, one even hits my hand when I put in flake food. They get flakes for the first feeding and frozen brine for the second.

Oh, they WILL jump so make sure your tank is covered with something better than eggcrate.
