Male - Lineatus or Flame Fairy Wrasse?

Just looking for other opinions. Do you prefer the Lineatus or Flame Wrasse? I'm split down the middle. Thanks for the input!

The colors are one of the most amazing in all fairy wrasses
I had both and no comparison.

Lineatus. I actually find them easier to keep than flame wrasses.

^ I agree as well, Flames seem to get picked on more as well.

Yep. Males of both seem to be harder to acclimate than females. The male lineatus is absolutely stunning though. Definitely will be a dominant fish towards other wrasses, anthias, etc. So keep that in mind.

No longer have it had to sell when I moved and the person who bought it killed it a month later Definitely my favorite fish and will get a new one or pair! soon.

Just got a Lineatus trio, a 5" Super male and two 2.5" females. The male is stunning and so are the females, they are just as stunning as the male, just smaller. All 3 are in a 30 gallon holding tank full of LR.
All are eating like pigs, got my from Kevin from Pacific Islands in Hawaii.
Never owed a Flame wrasse so I cannot compare. So far no issues with swim bladder at all.
Question....I wonder how the trio would do in a aggressive 110 gallon tank with a 2.5"Black/Scopas hybrid tang, 5"Emperor angel, 4"Brown Powder tang, 4"female Crosshatch trigger and a few Chromis. The trio would be introduced in the tank first.

I would make sure the trio was settled in the main tank for at least a good month or so, and make sure the top is covered and plenty of hiding spots. I had my wrasses with large angels with no problems, asfur, emp, regal, and flagfin.

My vote would be for both, flame and lineatus! They really compliment each other......

How long would it take for the swim bladder issue to show? If I got a Lineatus from DD after their quarantine would I be safe? Or might the bladder issue surface weeks or months later?

It usually manifests 10-14 days after collection.

my lineatus and rhomboid swim bladder shows up a month or so later.
I had 8 of them did that and never recover

Went with a Male Lineatus, shipped by Pet Solutions. He arrived yesterday and will be in QT, for the next 3-6 weeks.
