Malu/Crispa? ID Help

Its really hard to tell from the picture. It's not always easy to tell in person, because a stressed crispa looks a lot like a malu.
From the apparent size and the way it is holding itself, my guess would be crispa. If the foot is actually orange, that would swing me in the direction of malu.

I'm curious, why would you want to sell it if it's a crispa? (It's a beaut!) I have a crispa, I bought as a malu. I thought for years it was a malu, and some on here after I posted a picture, told me it's a crispa. It's about 8" on a good day. Small tents at the mouth, longer ones at the rim. I feed it a few times a week and have had it for a few years. Do you want to sell it because of the size they claim they get? Mine doesn't get very big. What ever you choose, best wishes!

It is really hard to tell as is. Once healthy and in it stable environment it is easier. Right now it can be either. If it is larger than 4-5 in in that picture (which will get a lot larger once it expand to normal size) then it is much more likely to be a Crispa. If it is small than it can be either.

Well, I put it by the rock on the sand.. it moved onto the rock and has tucked itself in under a rock overhang. Not sure if it's a Malu or Crispa as it's not in the sand at all.. tentacles are short (about 1cm), maybe my lights were too much for it.

Regardless of what it is that's a nice looking nem. I would be concerned about your lighting being too much.
Fwiw...............my red malu has a white foot and it stopped growing at about 6-7 inches. It would never sit still unless the base was touching sand, but I imagine if the light is too much it's not going to care about sand & do whatever it a can to avoid too much light intensity.
