Dear LiveAquaria,

I just wanted to say that the mandarin goby that I received from you has been doing awesome. It started eating enriched mysis almost immediately and has been eating wholeheartedly since. Just out of curiosity. It that also what you feed yours. Just as a suggestion do you think you might be able to offer a gender preference when placing the goby in checkout since the genders are sexually dimorphic to a reasonable extent. I think that you guys are the best source of reliable mandarins out there!

We are excited to hear that the Mandarin Goby you received is thriving well in your aquarium!

At our holding facility the Mandarins are being fed live brine shrimp.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer specific genders when placing an order for many of the fish we offer. As the fish we offer are in their juvenile stage making it difficult to determine their sex. Customers may always mention their preferences for items they are ordering; however, we are not able to guarantee that you will receive your special request.
