So Saturday I noticed one of my mandarin's eye is swollen. I haven't made any additions to the tank in months so I think it is likely this is injury related not disease introduction related. I did use kalk paste in the tank killing some aptasias earlier in the day so I'm worried maybe he came in contact with the paste.
After doing a search and some reading there seems to be a split between advice to remove to QT and treat with an antibotic and simply letting the fish recover on its own in the tank. The fish still seems to be eating and acting relatively normally. Luckily this guy eats nls pellets so I should be able to provide for him ok in the main tank and hope for the best.
What would you do?
