Reef Monster
I have always wanted a mandarin and after five years, finally feel I have the type of reef to support one. For one, it's aged and stable, needless to say...loaded with pods. I have a fine sand bottom and it's already sifting. Aren't here any tricks or tips to keeping this healthy? My boys (4 and 6) instantly Fell in love with it so no pressure :)

An aged 90 gallon tank should work fine. You can make things a bit better by creating "pod piles" which are little piles of rock rubble that will create mini-refugiums for copepods to breed without being eaten. Virtually all mandarins eat PE mysis so as a supplement, this would be a good supplied food.

Thank you.
