mangrove/macro question

I'm setting up a mantis tank, 40 gallon breeder. I'd love to put macro algea and a few mangroves in it. I have a GLO T5 fixture, which is 2x39w. Is that enough light to support these? I would like have red kelp, shaving brush plant, and maidens hair. Then if possible, 3 or 4 mangroves. The tank will also have mushrooms, xenia, kenya trees, and possibly a carpeting polyp. (if you can't tell, I like movement in the tank)

That lighting should be sufficient to grow those macros. What are your plans as far as mangrove placing goes?

I'm going to have a rock pile in the back left corner where the mantis burrow will be. I figured I'd put the mangroves on top of that, with the roots growing into the rockwork.

I grow mangroves and red gracilaria under cheap t-5 bulbs so your lighting will be fine. By the way, I have some of both available as well as shaving bush, different caleurpas and another green big, wide leafed one that I can't recall the name of.

Ladybug: if you have some that you would be willing to sell/give away (I'd pay shipping of course), I'd be interested. Besides kalkwasser, I won't be adding any suppliments to the tank. If I remember correctly, caleurpas have a calcium based skeleton, so they might not do that well in this tank.
Let me know. I'm looking at getting the tank set up in a week or two.
