Mangroves

The LFS store in Nitro has some. We will try to get more in shortly. I think about 40 or so, I'm going to put 15 in my new fuge when I set it up..................anyone interested can PM me or just go to Nitro to get them...................thx

I know it isn't intended to be but IME this could be viewed by Reef Centeral as a commercial post which is against their TOS.
In the RC playground there is a very fine line between a group buy and purchasing multiple items for resale. Especially on a repeat basis.

Also again IME and from some past conversations with the mods.

Is fine. Anybody, except a LFS employee/owner, can post what a LFS has in stock or even a great deal like Bert's dollar a gallon sale. As long as they don't "pimp" the store on a regular basis.

We will try to get more in shortly.

Could cross their line about a LFS advertising on RC. Especially since they have no idea you aren't really affiliated with/representing the shop.

Again just a friendly heads up from somebody that's spent too many years on RC. :lol:

for the record, as long as they reproduce im willing to include my mangroves in the swap program.... actually, im ok with all my stuff being in the swap, as long as they are doing ok...

thx for the lookout......... restated - I am getting a bunch of mangroves.... I can't keep them all. I thought LtPiper's shipment didn't come, which I was going in half with.... so I ordered 40 needed 20, ended up getting 10 from LtPiper, trying to get rid of the rest so I don't have to throw them in the trash. LFS is holding them for me in their tanks. I believe there are 5 left, and the other part of my order hasn't come in yet. Hope that is better........PM if interested


On a side note I'm not sure what you mean Altpers0na. Reproducing mangroves....... probably not happening around here....

plants right? they grow, and if they like where they grow they might reproduce?

is that not how it works?

or are mangroves shy?

They would be tree size before they would produce seeds I believe.

are they not clone able? as per spider plant er what ever other house plants that get cut n passed?

I was doing some routine maintenance on my tank this A.M. and noticed all my little mangroves had new leaves on them. I guess they are happy.
