i have one i kind of rescued it from the fish store. it really had a sunken stomach when i got it. brought it home and within a couple of months its belly was bluging out its a fatty now.

Several somebodys have raised them...Matt Wittenrich, Matt Pedersen (I think), Richard Reynolds, and a few others I believe.

Is he eating frozen yet? Those are always the coveted mandarins.

mine isn't that I know of. He doesn't like me very much so he stays out of site. I occasionally see little sand clouds when he gets a mouthful coming out of the crevices.
