Mantis and chromis

I got a peacock and wonder if chromis is a good live food for it? The thought was to get about 5 of em and let the mantis pick em of one by one, and maybe replenish when its 2 left. Or is fish not a good alternative as live food for a mantis and it should get something to crack instead?

Smashers should be getting snails/hermits/crabs occasionally. Fish may well get ignored. Depends on the mantis.

Yes of course. But the chromis was supposed to be like a smorgasbord from where he can pick when he feels like, if there are no crabs/snails etc around.
Question should have been; Does chromis contain any necessary nutrients for a peacock, or is it junk food?

I think the question is largely moot. However I doubt the Chromis will provide much of anything to the mantis. It would be a short meal for the mantis should it decide to off the chromis, however it's more then unlikely to attack the fish.
