Mantis and Corals?

hey

newbie here.

i have an acrylic 10 gal tank laying around. i want to put some corals in it. i was wondering if i can have a mantis shrimp with couple of zoos, polyps, or shrooms.

also is it ok to have angler with mantis shirmp????

I dont think I would have an angler with a mantis since they will eat things there own size or bigger... But you can have mushrooms, polyps or zoos.

The only draw back on having corals with a mantis that if the coral is not mounted on a large rock the mantis may use it in his buliding of his home or just shuffle it around the tank.

I have zoos, mushrooms, plus other stuff with the mantis. No problems, but it'll be pretty hard to frag the corals and you'll need to put your hands inside the tank. And like Geekster said, if the corals are not mounted well and fall in front of the mantis hole...what do you do? I supposed you could use something.

The angler has no defence against the mantis...even if it is a big one and happens to swallow the mantis.
