Mantis at Aquarium Concepts in Hayward, CA

I was there this Saturday (11/12), and saw a 4 - 4.5 inch smasher. It has been forever since I read the mantis forum (too busy) but I want to say it is a G Chiragra. It is green, with brown/olive bands down it's body - it pretty much looks like army camoflauge. Also, it is very beefy... wider (proportionately) than my peacock. He looked pretty unhappy as he was being kept in a very small critter keeper within a larger aquarium. I don't know if he is still there, but if you are looking for one, you may want to give them a call.

I already have 2 G. chiraga, and I am restraining myself from 'rescuing' any more mantis shrimp (OK, I do have on on hold at a shop here in SF, but still...) for a bit.

A P. cilata would change that instantly, and let me know if you see one!

I think he already has... cracked it that is. He didn't bust it wide open, but I think I recall seeing at least 2 cracks in the side he was facing.
