Mantis + Carpet Haddoni?

is it possible to keep a smasher Mantis and a Haddoni Carpet together in something like a 20 gallon? what about a 40 gallon? will the mantis bother the carpet or visa versa? thanks for your help

i'm not sure about how well the 2 would go together, but the thing i was kinda worried about is that small of a tank for a carpet anemone considering their potential size

well im thinking about putting the combo ina 40 gallon breeder, so the light can be concentrated on one side of the tank for the carpet and the other part of the tank a little dimmer for the mantis,

The carpets get 1.5'-2' across in good conditions. Keeping one happy in anything less than a huge aquarium is going to be difficult.

In general the recommendation is for a species tank, for both anemones and for mantis. I wouldn't do it.

Mantis live very happily with most corals, if you don't mind them doing redecorating. Xenia, 'shrooms, and zoanthids work quite well in general.
