Mantis ID?

Sorry, havent got pics yet, will soon, but can anyone off hand tell me what kind of mantis may have Red Meral Spots?

The mantis is an inch and a half long smasher, quite thick, brown body with small black dots all over its body. Red meral spots, and blue-ish Rap. Dactyls. Yellow antennal scales, and walking legs.

Probably be easier with a picture i know, but suffering from some camera where-a-bouts problems right now.

some n oerstedii have redish meral spots and a mottled appearence like you describe, but itll be easier to tell with a pic

 

[Gonodactylus]

There are several gonodactylids that have red meral spots.

The only one from the Indo-Pacific is Gonodactylellus rubriguttatus, a small species found in rubble from 20-50 m. It could show up in live rock.

In the Caribbean, Neogonodactylus austrinus has a bright red spot. (N. oerstedii is grey to purple, not pure red.)

On the Pacific coast of Central America, both N. zacae and N. festae have red spots.

After getting a better look at it under light:

The body is a greyish purple. It has dark red (garnet coloured) meral spots with a white circle around them. The "ridges" on the telson are green, the walking lets go from purple to green to yellow. The shrimp is covered in brown "freckles". The "heel" of the raptorial dactyl is a light blue mixed with white, and the portion before that is a light green colour.
