Just wanted to see if anyone knew of any shows or docementaries available on dvd or video about mantis shrimps.

There are several that I have helped with. The first was "Fastest Claw in the West", a Wildlife on One BBC production in the mid 80's.

The second was Episode 8, "Fighting" of Trials of Life, another BBC series.

I also did a segment for National Geographic on stomatopod bluffing. It was called Animal Minds.

Recently BBC released "Animal Cameras" which has some ultra-high speed video of stomatopods striking. Animal Planet has been showing it under another name j- something about spying.l

Yep me again.

Just thought I'd let you guys know that if anyone is interested in "The Fastest Claw In The West" it is available through Amazon and is a two video box set set with a docu about ceph's as well.

Should be cool.
