Mantis Shrimp in Refugium?

I caught a mantis shrimp last night. It's from Caribbean cultured live rock, around 2.5" long, and greenish brown.

I put it in my refugium, but was that a mistake? In the refugium I have caulerpa, lots of small feather dusters, lots of little creatures (mysids?) around 2-3mm. Not sure what a mantis shrimp eats. Will he wipe some or all of the refugium critters out?

I have no doubt he will eat the mysid if he can catch them, mine eats saltwater glass shrimp like hey are going out of style. Feather dusters should be safe enough. You might want to post this thread to the mantis forum for more specific feedback.

If it's a smasher it will kill and eat crabs and snails. Ir it's a spearer they prey mostlyon small fish. If you keep it fed they usually leave things alone. I have one in my sump and he's a nice addition.
