Mantis shrimp...

how many clicks do mantis shrimp make at once? is it multiple or single? I've had these clicking sounds in my tank for while, sometimes single, most of the time multiple, i can keep everyfish i have in the tank for no problems, no gobys missing, etc. the only thing i can't keep is the actual damsels (always disappear) any ways I'm trying to decide if its a mantis thats not a killer or a pistol shrimp. i haven't lost any crabs or snails either.

Sound won't help you figure out if you have a pistol or mantis.
Only where it is living in your tank.

you have to get in there and remove rocks to find it..... or during feeding try to lure it out to the open
