marble base??

as the title says, does anyone on here use marble base for propagation? and what are your experiences with it?

good for sps, so-so for zoas, not all zoas/palys like it, only certain ones

i've heard that it's great since it is a flat surface, and therefore very easy to remove the mat??

well you can use ceramic plugs for that too, somewhat lighter as well. if you want easy fragging surface, try putty. they cut like butter under xact blades.

I would choose something that is easy to cut.

marble is real easy to cut with a tile saw. especially a 1/2" thick piece
