So im pretty set on purchasing a marbled catshark and putting it in my 300 liter tank (I know this may seem small, but Scott Michael in the Sharks and Rays book he wrote, said its a min. 266 liter tank). I wanted to know if there would be any problems with the fish I have now:
2 Ocellaris
2 Clarkiis
1 One Spot Foxface
1 Powder Blue Tang
1 Orange Spot Goby
1 Rock Blenny
1 Purple Queen Anthias
2 Lyretail anthias (orange)
1 Bicolor Angel
1 Peppermint candy cane wrasse
1 Snowflake Moray Eel
2 anemones
Hermits, snails and a sand shifting starfish
Thanks

The problem i see is the grazing fish (foxface, angel, etc) my end up nipping at it and stressing it out

+1 in addition to this very fine sand, not crushed coral for substrate. Very minimal rock work. What rock is in there needs to be secure so it can't fall and injure the elasmobranch. They are nocturnal so as the shark grows it will predate smaller fish you have at night. The book you read isn't very accurate or information filled. The elasmobranch husbandry guide on the other hand is and is available online for free. Read that then make your decision on a shark

300liter or 300gallon?

300 liters sounds very small for a shark

+1 A 75g aquarium is a very short term home for any shark long term... I thought you had a 300g and my first thought was that was small but can be done. The smallest sharks grow 18-24" full grown. I don't think you could support one along with your other fish in that tank volume.

@TheAngelfish, i heard about that before, but i thought it was only with more aggressive fish such as triggers and puffers, but not grazers, i'll have to take that into consideration.
@Dmorty, I do have fine sand, but i will have to remove some of the rocks, but keep enough for my eel. Yes the book i read only provides a very brief 'introduction' to the shark
i still plan on doing lots of research.
@RayL and Dmorty, I only plan on keeping him/her for 1 year, and then maybe get an upgrade to a bigger +1100 liter tank.

Thanks for the replies :)
