The swap is 6 days away.... If you plan on bringing rares, it will save YOU a lot of time and US a lot of headache if people get their corals prejudged here rather than at the door. That being said, the corals we have seen are GORGEOUS. This should be a fantastic swap :)

I just thought of a question. Are the rare frags only allowed to be picked by people picking in the bonus rounds or can anyone grab one if they are still there by the time its their turn to pick? As you can tell, I'm a Frag Swap noob!!!

This question may have been asked but how will you all know if the RARE pieces have been prejudged I would hate to get there and then it not be considerd rare.

{{I FOUND AN ANSWER THAT WAS NOT ALL OF IT BUT ENOUGH.}}

When it is your pick, you can grab whatever is on the table.

Unless I call dibs on it!

DIBS! on the Tyree/tubs/ATL/LE/CE frags!

!

That's correct. All the corals are available for picking. All extrardinary and ordinary pieces are on the same tables. So grab any piece you like, we just ask that you only grab things you feel comfortable in keeping.

As for the prejudging - one of us on the comittee will make a posting towards the end of this week with a listing of everything that has been accepted in the extraordinary category. So please get your pics in ASAP so we have time to make a determination. We will have this list on hand in the frag check in station to match up with what ya'll bring in.

Mike, Pete, and Paul! You guys have really seemed to dedicate yourselves to this event, and are really staying on top of things!

Just gotta say "Good job!"

Well thank you! It does help to have a slight case of OCD. :D Honestly, its the members that make this all possible. Without a group like this who are willing to help out with all the little stuff... it just would not happen.

There are some mad working sessions coming up this week, but what a spectacular payoff, eh? ;)

I just saw a pic of one of those in a Reef book at Borders...
Just awesome. It also had some great pictures of hot pink Pigmy Seahorses. Crazy animals!

Yeah Leafy seadragon is rare.....would be even more rare if you frag it....

Actually so rare that it is illegal to have one unless you are a licensed public aquarium, they had one at montery bay aquarium, not sure if they still do.
