SEASL's Annual 50/50 Auction is coming!!

Our March meeting will be held on Saturday March 10th at 10:00am. We are still working on the location, but now is the time to start gathering your unused equipment and dry goods for the auction.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with this auction, it is a fantastic opportunity to clean out your basement/garage/closet and help out a fellow hobbyist. This auction is SEASL's primary fundraiser and the proceeds earned have helped us host Anthony Calfo & Eric Borneman.

The 50/50 is a simple concept. People sell their used equipment and dry goods at the auction. They give half of the sale price to SEASL, and either keep the other half or donate it back to the club. In addition to used goods, we will have many new items available courtesy of the local stores and manufacturers.

So far, we will be auctioning 2 premium Reef Central memberships, a MAG 7 pump and a UV Sterilizer from Danner Manufacturing, a $25 gift certificate from Pet Solutions, a free IMAC registration, and a 1/2 inch Sea Swirl from Sea Swirl.

We will post additional items as they become available. We invite you to list the items you intend to sell in this thread. If you are looking for anything in particular, feel free to list it here. This is a great way to generate interest in your goodies and see what will be available at the auction.

Items in the past have included skimmers, pumps, sumps, frag tanks, gift certificates, fish food, additives and more! Whether you're looking to buy or looking to sell, this is the reefer's event of the year.

Thanks,
Brad, Becky & Tom
