The March meeting of the Tampa Bay Reef Club will be from 2:00 to 5:00 on March 17 at Angela Westphals house. She currently has two tanks, a 125 and a 46 gallon, both reef tanks. She has sponsored the club meeting before and has nice looking tanks. It should be a good meeting and a good time.

Her address is:
6612 N. Elizabeth St
Tampa Fl, 33604

813-232-1298 if you get lost.
Her house is near the Lowry Park Zoo.

If people bring frags we can have an auction, we have not had much action in that vein lately.

See you there!

Looks like this will be my first meeting...

I want to joint the club, is there anything I need to do prior to the meeting?

Bryan..this is you first meeting?? Well...in order to really be accepted into the Tampa Bay Reef Club...you need to come to the meeting wearing your tidy whities on the outside of your pants.

I'll be sure to stock up on more beer.

Sorry i am going to miss the meeting, i just found out my moms party is at 4:30 and not 5:30. :( Hope to see u guys at the April one instead!

April is coming up quick...

What we doing, are we thinking aobut having a topic of discussion?

If not a formal presentation, how about a prepared topic for a round table discussion?

there really havent been any... how bout a nutrient exportation discussion. factor in the DSB vs BB debate relative to water parameters. Ill measure my BB parameters compared to your SB parameters and we will compare. and discuss what happens in both.. just a thought. ill bet im in trouble nowi

Intelligent discussion is never a problem. Presenting how both work is never a problem. Taking sides for the point of arguement, well that sucks. In the reef world, it's not one against the other, it's personal preference, and how to make your personal preference work in your reef.

Now Joe, don't start any s&%t and there won't be any!!! LOL!!!

BB VS DSB and Beer?? uh oh!!!... Seriously , I think we can all get along. I didnt see any pugelists at any of the meetings I attended. Ill be glad to explain my tank and discuss my regiment and that days tests results and try to decipher why it does what it does.. thats all.. not why my way is better than any other way. Why I believe it does what it does.. for example i had measurable nitrates until I added ozone. AO (after ozone ) I have none and havent had any.. Why? Those are topics not necesarily easy to figure out.. good topic for a meeting..
