March Meeting Sunday 21st

I'm going to try and do my best to make it to this meeting. Been awhile since I've been to any CT club meetings but when beer is brought up I have to consider it.

I've just finished drinking my fill for the eve. Currently traveling for work in Cologne and had quite a few and feeling rather pleasent.

nothing better in my mind than fresh draught from the old world.

Cheers!!!

I'm thinking the manager could talk about the various synthetic salts we reefers use. We can expand on this topic to include additives etc. Any other thoughts?
Regards, Neil

Joe did the the blue hydro frag make it?

I love the duck when me and my friend were the rum dum twins drinking after work every day we would always go there and get in trouble..lol there food is great and it's an old tug boat thats sideways alittle so when your drunk you cant tell cause your always walking crooked, and the wall on the way to the bathroom jesus i still have bruses on my shoulder from hitting the famous wall to the bathroom. goodtimes and memories when life was easier and less to worry about..lol. should be fun though

I'd personally be interested in them telling us about all the various corals they carry... what they like about each one, what their experiences with them have been, what their requirements are, and whatever they'd like to share about each.

They could spend 30-45 minutes talking about that, and it might make the feel engaged as valued advisors - experts as it were.

The meeting next week MIGHT be a problem for Westport Aquarium. Like much of the area, Westport got hammered by that storm... losses of power everywhere. Loads of damage and a few tragic deaths too.

I drove by Westport Aquarium today, and it looked like they had no power. Hope I was wrong, and if I'm right I hope they have some form of backup. 'Cuz as of this time those without power have been out about 24 hours. And the power company says it may be a few more days for many here.

Hope they're ok.

hello everyone....

thanks joe!
my gf and i were talking about how we had a great time at bobs when you had your meeting... and liked the frag raffle you guys had...

are you guys doing something like that again?

i have good amount of radioactive dragon eye zoas frags and some zoas that have a grey mouth/red ring this green lashes too

thanks bobby

Yes, I believe the raffle will be on, although I have no clue what everyone is bringing. I have RPEs and Whammin Watermelons to bring along. I'll have to see what else I have that I can bring.

i looked online today and the ones that are red look like a knock off of the watermelons lol... im actually looking for rpe and ppe...

Will be good to see you at the meeting. Sorry as I will not have much to frag for the raffle for a while as I'm all fragged out.

Where's the best place to park?
Riverside Avenue - on the street - either side in the marked spaces. Riverside is the street that the shop faces.

Alternately, about 30 yards down the street on the water side, is a building with ground level parking under it. I don't know what the building is (offices?), but I've parked there many a time on weekends and evenings with nary a problem.

Yes, no problem to park on Riverside, not many cars parked on Sundays.

As I missed the last 2 meetings, I don't know how the raffle works. Can I bring whatever things I can frag? How many?

See you guys on Sunday.

Didier
