March Meeting

How about something to chew on Folks, We would like to update the MTRC Logo and get everything with the Club Logo on it like Hats, Shirts, Stickers for your car Avatars Etc. We would like for everyone to submit suggestions and Samples for a Eye Catching New Logo for the Club. Maybe the one who submits the winning design can get something special for there effort besides Bragging rights to the Logo.
Lets see what you got???

You don't like the old logo?
 
I for one thought the old logo needed to be updated a bit. So that is the reason that I created the redone avatar based on the old logo's design(I also created the old-logo avatar for those with more traditional taste). I don't have a problem with our current logo "style" at all, but would be open to a better look if someone had one in mind. This is just my 2 cents.

Not a matter of dislike, Just would like to see what New Design could be come up with that will work as a new Face on the Website along with Letterheads,Hats, Shirts, Bumper Stickers/Fish store windows Etc. There are advances in Tech since the original one and I think we could do something better and more up to date.
No particular offense taken about the old one Chris, It was just an Idea that's time seemed right.
Just hate the Damned if you do and damned if don't way things are looked at all the time. We are trying to get more members to join and rejoin the Club and things updated don't seem to me to be a bad thing! The board will Vote on this and as I'm told that's the way things are supposed to be done. Donnie will have Final Say as he has to incorporate it into the Web site and it needs a face lift. JMHO

I was just asking, not trying to be critical. I personally think Donny is a great artist and am curious to see what he comes up with:)

I am making a list of Items for the Next meeting that will be posted shortly, Need to get all BOD members on board first. It will be all the topics that we would like to get discussion on at the meeting.

I am excited to come to the March meeting (sad that I missed Feb's). I am open and willing to cook or bring whatever is missing/needed. Just let me know, Mel, what you need me to bring.

The big question is where does Mel live? Can I get an address?

I ran into Jay at AC and he was telling me that we were putting together a CUC purchase and that selections should be in before the 17th. I would like to get on board with that however I can't find at MTRC.org (do we even use that site?) or here where to go to indicate what I would like to pay for.

BTW, the March meeting isn't on the calendar at MTRC.org. Seems that would be a good place to post it. Can someone do that?

We are in transition to a New BOD and all the details like Access passwords have not yet been handed over to the new IT person in charge of that, As far as I know it will be done in the near future with some new innovations added and you will be notified when it is complete.
It all takes time and we are working on many Changes so Please be Patience

PS, As far as group buy's just post on that thread here on RC as to what you want and you can PP your order to the person doing the buy!

This is false. All passwords and acces was handed over the day after the election meetings AND a phone conversation walking Donnie through them was had the next evenng.nDonnie has already made a change I think.

Andy, I talked to Donny last night and he is out of town and He told me that he was not going to work on the Site until he get back to TN. As far as the Passwords go You may be correct It was not discussed in Detail yesterday and If that's the Case I Apoligise. Now I think he has Not made any changes yet and believe that to be correct not False.
