Sweet. The last meeting there was great. How's your new tank build coming along? 120 right? 1kwksvt? Hope to get to see the progress at the meeting. Im going to cut some nice frags for the raffle tonight.

Sounds good. Thanks for hosting. Anybody know if there will be new shirts available?

I never heard back from BOD on the direction they wanted to go. So I've been on stand by in regards to the shirts.

Sounds great. Being new to the area/club anything I should know about the meets?

Members bring little items like chips and dip, drinks, desert, hot dog etc.... If you have anything to swap thats always good. We generally purchase frags from a store and raffle them off.

Thanks Dragon for your continuing efforts on the shirts.

I'm willing to pony up the difference in shirt cost for XXL v. XL.

I need to clear some space on my racks and sandbed, so I'll be bringing some frags to the meeting. Acropora yongei, 2 or 3 hammers (not colonies, but a couple good size heads each), Kryptonite Candycanes (give back from successfully propagated previous raffle winning), Mindblowing palys, possibly some Orange Stargazer palys (Dr. Mac's Magicians) and / or Devils Armor.

I've noticed the Mindblowing palys' coloration is sensitive / responsive to overall par. On the bottom of my tank they are more subdued whereas midway up on a rack they brighten considerably.

Sticks are awesome. For anyone contemplating trying to grow acros, A. yongei is a good starter choice. It's the hardiest and most forgiving acro I've experienced and can be fairly furry. I enjoy watching the polyps wave in the current. If it does ok for you, your tank could possibly support other acros.
