Hey guys, I'm Jim. I'm new to Decatur and I noticed you were having a meeting at Petco. I lucked out and have tomorrow off. I would like to come up and meet up with more experience. I noticed Monica may have some zenia and kenya tree you want to get rid of. I would take a couple of frags. I also noticed Tomoko has Purple and Orange Monti Cap that I would like to try if you have any left. I also really like the deep green Zoas if you are not depleted. Is there anything I need to bring?
i'll take some of that live rock if your givin it away. I'm not ready to trade any frags yet but by next meeting I should have some stuff to trade. I'd appreciate anything anybody wants out of their tank It will be me and 1 or 2 others so that adds 2-3 to the count. Also anyone have any pulsing zenia they want to get rid of?
It was really good to see you all!! Nice to see the familiar faces and meet new people, too
I'd like to thank Decatur Petco for accommodating us - providing not only space for us to gather but also some snack and soft drinks as well. They also showered us with all the reef/sw related goodies. I came home with a 25 Gal/7 lbs bag of Kent salt mix, a Kent reef starter kit, some Ocean Nutrition food and a Hydro mini heater Petco's livestock looked good and from what they told us, they are really trying to be a good conscientious fish/pet store, too. They are going to carry Walt Smith live rocks and more salt water live rocks. The store is definitely different from other Petco's I know. It's worth checking out if you had not done so. They are willing to host our future meetings there
It was nice meeting new people. I had number 13 and it was lucky for me I won a Fluval filter. Thanks, again to PETCO for sponsoring us. We also bought a sweet little tang!
