Thanks junkitu... you left me in the dust a couple months ago.. lol.

I'm using PC (stock 64) ... I know EZ uses MH 150W if I recall correctly. (I've followed his tank threads for some time... )

Fierce competition... in fact all these tanks are, stunning stuff going on inside these nanos.

At the end of the year, or one year mark of doing the nano of the month... we should hound the RC staff into selecting one (or organize a effort to select one here) for the "real" tank of the month... as in the one on the front page of the site. ...yes, those big systems are impressive for so many reasons, but this end of the hobby is the one growing the most currently. I only reacall seeing one or two nanos in the "real" totm. ...there should be more.

I stand corrected... hard to keep up with you ez..

One of the best things about the reef fourms we post on... watching a box of rocks turn into a beautiful reef. I've had the pleasure of seeing yours, junkitu's and a few others posted do just that.

I got a hold of a 240w canopy with halides... not for the pod, but there is a new colored stick system with a just under 30 gallon display likely (and a 30 gallon sump/fuge) in my head your tank has helped inspire. ....might take off later this year.

(oh, not to leave out Calvin... I started drooling over his 10 gallon even before he has water in it)

Agreed. I really enjoy watching the development of fellow nano reefer's tanks. They're beautiful and foster lots of ideas for my own tank.

Thanks to EZ's inspiration, I too have been kicking around an idea for a new tank that may bring metal halides into my future.

When you say NEW Tank of the Month, I say, look here...

This was started on February 10, 2007 so it's exactly 1 month old. It is a 10g tank with a 10g sump. Of course, sump does not hold 10g of water. It was seeded with sand and rubble from an established tank as well as SeaChem's Stability to help establish the bio-filter. Water checks out fine, even NO3 are at zero.
