LOL

By the way, NORA now has a forum on MASO.

We need another forum like we need another hole in the head :) I would really like to see everyone start making the switch to the forum on our website.

Personally, I like the one site for everybody. Much easier to find what others in Ohio are doing and easier for us to tell them. I really like what Michigan Reefers got going.

If nothing else its a place for other clubs to see that we exist. It might help with invites to smaller swaps and DISCOUNTS.

I'm kind of at odds with all this... I really don't like bouncing around all the time, but also the idea of interacting with a larger group on a regular basis has its own appeal and advantages. I hate to say it but I think that's part of the reason the TRAC forum hasn't taken off, for the group we have it just dilutes the pool to much....

The Forum may not be taking off but there are people showing up to our meetings so I'm happy about that one. The difference between NORA and TRAC is one is a social gathering (NORA) and the Other is becoming an Organization (TRAC).

My truck that is ;)

To each his own. I for one really don't like change and jumping around. That's why I haven't even signed up for NORA's site yet. I don't even post outside of the NORA forums anymore. And to me, clubs are supposed to be fun so I like the social aspect. Some people need a more rigid structure.

I like having both. I know I can goof off here and say whatever I want, without fear of ticking people off too bad. I see NORA as more of a group of people chatting rather than a serious club. TRAC is more focused on becoming an actual reefkeepers club, with meetings, tours, guest speakers and such. A place to goof off and socialize, and a place to really get the club aspect going. I like that.

I love NORA's new chat room though. It will take care of most of my stupid comment posts.
