Just wanted to guage interest on a Marine Betta
(Calloplesiops altivelis) ....

It is about 4-6 inches long , healthy , and happy... It's in a 55 gal right now w/ just a few chromis ... We have decided to just tear down this 55 for right now so the Betta needs a home ... We are still on the fence about getting rid of it and figured if there was anyone interested it may help us make up our minds ... For Sale or trade ... I would prefer a trade if possible ... Some zoos would be prefered ... Thanks all .....

i would be very interested in trading your betta for some zoas. Give me a call when you see this. I could come down tommarrow or saturday and pick him up. I have a bunch of different zoas.

Hey eric post some pics of the zoas u got. I am wondering how they are liking the 250 halide. The fish is great. He eats like a pig and is always out and about just chilling. I thought Betta's were suclsive and noctonarl. And that they didn't care that much for bright lights. Let me know. ben

Hey Ben , I will definetly be posting some pics of my tanks coming up here shortly ...As I don't think too many of the reefers around have actually seen my tanks ... I've seen just about everyone elses... Took a while before I was proud enough to actually show em off a little... They aren't great but they are progressing to where I hope they'll be, w/ all the help and info i've gathered from all the people in the clubs here. just now kind of getting the hang of the whole thing. I'm glad the betta is doing well and your enjoying it. It's a great fish . They are supposed to be nocturnal , but I had him on somewhat of a reverse light cycle for the first month I had him , and aclimated him more to the day hours so we could veiw him ,and also had him in a tank w/ just a few chromis which are also known to draw shyer fish out into the open more.. so that and the peaceful environment im guessing made him come out a bit more .... He does eat plenty , which is awesome for that kind of fish ... I hardly ever got to see him eat for quite a while and eventually he just started eating a ton , I tried to vary the diet until I found the few things he really took to ... Keep me posted as to how it is doing and how the tank is coming along ....
