Marine Biology College Programs

Well its pretty much stated above, Im looking for any online marine biology college courses, that I can take as a high schooler my school says they'd pay for them, so thats pretty much covered, the hitch is is that it has to be a national or state school, it can be from a private university but theyre really reluctant to pay if its a private universities course.

lol, sorry I wasnt clear, they wont accept other state schools, only colorado or federal, or if they must private universities.

Check out Woods Hole Oceanagraphic Institute, they may be able to point you in the right direction.

Well Miami is a Private University and probably has one of the better undergraduate MRB programs in the nation. BYU offers a whole host of online courses for high schoolers. My neighbor's son had to retake the first semester of Geometry and instead of going to summer school at his school he took it online.

Another thing about UofM is that (when I was your age [God I sound old]) they offer a Summer Scholars program for high school students. I went the first year they did it (oh the stories and lessons learned from that year) and it was only a MRB program. I have heard that it has expanded to enclude other programs, but the MRB was OUTSTANDING. You have classes m-f 8-3 or so with some of the leaders in their field, and as part of it you have a group project you have to work on.
