I am sorry, but I think cash back programs are a distraction. Service and price should go together to provide the customer a reason to come back. I refuse to use a shopping card at my grocery store or my drug store. If I need a coupon to get a fair price then I do not need the item or that means a competitor is pulling business away with either more service or a better price and I value my shopping privacy more than saving a buck on a bottle of soda or fish food. The reason we shop the web is that local service outlets do not understand the customer experience and price need to be in balance or I just cannot find it. So to my point, I shop at marine depot because they always answer the phone, they are courteous, honest and make me feel confident in my decisions. Please do not go down the coupon, discount card, bonus buyer programs path.
