I have seen quite a few posts regarding MarineDepotLive here recently.

MarineDepot and MarineDepotLive are two seperate facilities with two different groups of staffing.

I do understand there are questions that are asked repeatedly, and it would be good to have a public forum for everybody to benefit from the answers. Once there is MarineDepotLive staffing to handle forum posts, we will ask Reef Central to set up a MarineDepotLive forum. Not so much worried about MDL posting here, I just wish they would either respond to my emails or my phone calls about the shipment of fish and corals that FedEx delayed by a day.

MDL completely screwed our order. Badly. They tried to pass off the wrong fish on us.

Totally unacceptable.

Regardless if they are seperate, I now won't shop either. Too bad, because I need to order some big things and Marine Depot would have been my first choice.

To pretend the 2 are completely different organizations and 1 is not responsible for the other is telling enough.

See, it's not about trying to say Marine Depot and the other Marine Depot have nothing to do with one another so don't complain since someone can't deny or explain.

MD treated me right, MDL did not. I can vouch for the difference. But someone kinds needs to get their house in order.

I think the power of forums like this is a very good thing, it unites a great number of people who can protect each other by sharing information about who is reputable to buy stuff from and who isn't. I am astounded that MD and MDL are still in business!! Sticking someone with a living creature they didn't order and then blowing you off is not only fraudulant, it's unethical as hell!!!! they should be truly ashamed!!! We need to band together and spread the word about scumbags like MDL who place $$$ over the welfare of the creatures we all care about. What they did to me is like calling a dog breeder on the other side of the country, spending a huge amount of money for a champion bloodline Doberman, and receiving a Beagle 2 days later, I am just bewildered!!! I am going to file a fraud complaint against them through Visa, I don't want this to happen to anybody else!!!
