marine magic dosing pump review

I received a reply back about if you can run these pumps in seconds and the answer was yes. so your allowed to run. 0.1ml or more by setting the timer by the seconds.

this was their reply:

Hello,thank you for buy our pump: ). Firstly, Press "set and clock" simultaneously, the letter"b" will appear on the screen, d = "second", press "minute" can be adjusted the second.(refer to instruction 1.6), Let say d = 5. ( 5 is 5 seconds). Then press cancel, the timer will totally run second, all data spaces is reserve to run second.
Press "set" , then you will see = : = = on screen, press "cancel", you will see "0:00" , then you can press "week", "hour", "minute" to set the pump when start to dose. After that press "clock" to finish. The pump will run in second automatically. For example, set monday, 16:00 start. Since we set the pump will run 5 second, so the pump will run on 16:00:00 to 16:00:05.

The letter "b" will show on the screen if the user set the pump run "second".

Thank you so much for the instructions. I've ordered an unit yesterday and eagerly awaiting the arrival of the dosing pump. :dance:
 
Can this pump be configured to run only certain time of the day? How loud is it when it's running?
 
yes you can set it up to run at any time of the day you want. when programing it. you will set the time it is now. then set what time you want to turn the pump on and off. you can even set it to run on a certain day.

I can barely hear it when it is running from a couple feet away I usually have to look to see if the light is on that says the pump is running.
 
Do they include a power converter for use in US? How are the warranty and support? Say if the pump fail, do you have to send it all the way to HK for repair?
 
it comes with an ac adapter for plugs in the US.

the warrenty is only 30 days but support has been great. they give you an extra pump head but as for the pump itself going out I don't know. I know they also sell replacement parts cheap if ever needed to replace.
 
Sounds good. I am interested in getting one soon but would like to see long term how yours is doing. Please keep us post. And thx for writing the review.

so far the pumps are still pushing out the same ammount each time. I haven't really messed with changing the timer to run only in seconds yet but I may do that this or next week just to give it a try.
 
I have a brand new one that I'm not going to use. Taking a break so I'll make a deal on the one I have if someone wants. pm me.
 
New pump is sold.

I have a second used pump that is the same exact pump. Was used for about a month. pm me if interested.
 
add me to the list of tester, ordered the 3 pump unit. How long did it take to get the doser? im using it to dose cal alk and mag. if its good ill get more to dose other things

I bought the nib one from steelcity (thanks) and I have a question...what happens if it looses power? Does it have to be all reprogrammed?
