im looking to make a ultra thin weir and want to paint it black but it will be in contact with water in the overflow

I have read that krylon fusion is safe after it cures..No 100% on that though

yeah that comes in a ton of colors too..they are painting cars with that stuff now

Krylon Fusion is used by a lot of reefkeepers. You just have to make sure that it cures fully before placing in your tank.

The krylon fusion will, if its gloss black that is.

Make sure you prep the object to be painted well, it needs a good sanding to rough up the surface for the paint to adhere.

If you use fusion just make sure that you scuff up the Wier before painting so it won't chip off and get into the water and float around and take a chance that one of your fish eats it
