Mark's 180 Starfire upgrade

E), Get a bigger tank. JK

Good looking as always

Once we get a new governor that can will actually govern and not shut down state agencies three fridays a month, recover the CA real estate market and get the state politicians to balance a budget, I might be able to upgrade more than my tank   j/k

Looking good Mark. I think you should leave it alone for a while and see if the new scape works for you...only you can be the judge...which goes back to Brian's comment but that's all part of the obsession :crazy1:

...get the state politicians to balance a budget...
:hammer: IMHO that's the solution, unfortunately we couldn’t count on them to fund the right initiatives even if this was mandatory.

To the left of the LITS ;)

What, about me never being happy :uzi:

Oh, now I see it, plain as day. Very nice :D.

Yep, and maybe "never happy" is a bit harsh in retrospect. I would say you start to "jones" for a new look, some change, a fresh shot of newness, those kinds of things...not really general unhappiness, although I know you have been there as well. I think tinkering and pushing forward are big parts of the hobby and it is part of the evolution of each of our unique little oceans in a box. Nothing is stagnant, change is part of the equation. You are inspirational for your tenacity, care for your animals, and your incredible generosity to the hobby through your posts and personally when you interact with other reefers/friends in person.

Thanks Dan. I have a few pieces that I need to add into a few places and I might attempt to move my the raspberry sherbet, but for the most part, I'm not going to mess with rocks...for now :p

i love how the starfire glass looks i have a 300dd center over flow in the middle of the tank so youcan view all for sides and also have all four sides in starfire glass.

The sentiments are mutual. I feel completely lucky to count you as a good friend and someone I know we can look to in times of need :D. I can't wait to see you at BayMac :D :D.

On a sad note. We had to say goodbye to Tess, our sweet Blue Heeler yesterday :(...she was finally ready leave her best human friends to romp in bigger fields and chase endless frisbees and balls to her heart's content. The void is huge and we are roaming around aimlessly today.

Sorry to hear about Tess Alicia. Loss of our pets is never fun :(

Stunning as always.... I always wanted to know name of the fish in your user logo. I know it starts with "J" but can't remember what it is.

Only if you tell me if you are a united fan or a city fan :p I myself am Gerrard and Liverpool supporter; please do not hold out performance this year against me.

Its a centropyge joculator

Thanks

You will never walk alone......... I am born to love and live for the scousers even though I live amongest the Manchester United fans. Even most of my employees are United fans which is such a shame lol... I am sure we had this discussion before on the same thread....ohh and by the way thanks a million for the info on fish (now that it comes to my mind ;). I did asked TMC here in the UK few years back on Joculator fish availability but was told its very rare that they get this sort of request but however it would cost me in the region of £900 for a pair if I want. It was then,,, and now I am going to ask them again to see if I could get hold of this beautiful fish.

Note:- As a liverpool fan I would like to invite you to watch live match at Anfield as I am season ticket holder for the past 18 years.

Could I share one of mine with you? My camera skills are rubbish and this one was taken with Nikon D70 and Tamron 90mm Macro lens.

Thank You Tahir. I remember having this conversation once before :D

Let me ask a friend of mine who lives in England about the joculator and get back to you ;) They aren't cheap here in the states either, but thats a lot of quid :eek1:

18 years...Wow!!! That means you got to see the end of Rush's career, Barnes, Owen and my favorite reds of all time, Robbie Fowler
