To be honest, I have no idea. I have not tested anything but my alk for over a year now. Even at that, I only test my alk every 4-6 weeks. I gave up chasing numbers a long time ago as I've always been someone who just enjoys colors.

Sweet tank. I was at a LFS in Maryland and they had a coral marked "Poletti blue montipora." It is an encrusting type with a blue base and bluish/purpleish polyps. Was wondering if you have any pictures of this coral in your tank? I don't think I could ever catch up to reading this entire thread.
