Thanks Jay. The whole "i'm better than you because I have a whole bunch of tiny frags" rather than having a nice tank has really turned me off to the whole collecting these days. fb is cool to meet up with some old friends that I have lost contact with because my hands were always in the tank

Mark - your corals are breathtaking... I see you had a set back not too long ago and have rebounded remarkably.
Can you recap your filtration system, husbandry and dosing, if any? I would love to emulate some of your successes, because I've already emulated your setback!

Ian, I am down to just a couple sites now and my activity has really dropped off. Its pretty amazing that there is this thing called a "world" and all you have to do is turn off the computer and you can join at any time :lol:

Its kind of hard to believe that its been almost a year
looking back, I should of just got out when I had the opportunity :sad1:
As for all of that other stuff, I skim a heavily populated tank. I feed a lot. I try to do water changes; one or two 20% changes a month. Dosing, I have been using prodibio on and off since last Nov and I also use AA once a week. There is really no secret since 90% of my corals are captive raised corals. If you spend the extra money and get corals that are proven, you already know what you are going to get. I hope this helps, but there is not secret in a bottle out there, no matter what people say. Some of the greatest tanks out there are simple set ups and do not dose anything.

BTW, your tank looks great and so do the pictures you take. The OS I got from you is still doing great. Just thought you might care to know that:lol:

Yes, but the "world" is just too much work....:lol: BS'ing with friends on RC is so much more relaxing.
Hope the new job is going well. We need to get together for some Mikuni's sometime soon.

Oh I know, kids do suddenly sprout and grow up FAST. It wont be next weekend...probably in mid-late September. I can't wait to see you
and just catch up. I've missed you .I know what you mean about getting out in the world. I have really been cutting down on computer time in the last 6 months and I feel like it has balanced things out for me. I do end up missing what's happening for folks and the latest cool pictures and corals and all that, but there are a lot of other things I have been doing. It makes me love my tanks more when I get some breathing room from the reefing world in general. Setting a new tank up is fun and I feel like starting fresh will be the best for me. It is a pain in some respects but new and fun in other respects. I plan on sticking a build thread on RC just for fun. We'll see if i can keep up with it.

Instead of creating my own fb accout I simply hijacked my wifes and added all my friends...problem solved
Alicia- That sounds great. Just let me know a day or so in advance so I can clean the glass 
Gondore- You are a brave man. Even though I am happily married, I was not always married and there is no way I would take the chance of putting my wife in the middle of that. Definitely I vote for a seperation of church and state on fb
